Hyderabad witnessed chaotic scenes during the premiere of Allu Arjun's much-anticipated film Pushpa 2, resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to two others. The premiere, held at midnight at the iconic Sandhya Theatre on RTC Cross Roads, attracted thousands of fans eager to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, who were present at the event.
The overwhelming crowd turned unruly as fans pushed against the theatre gates, leading to a stampede-like situation. The police had to intervene with mild lathi-charge to control the surge. Unfortunately, the chaos claimed the life of 39-year-old Revathi, a resident of Dilsukhnagar.
Revathi, who had come to watch the premiere with her husband Bhaskar and their two children, Sri Tej (9) and Sanvika (7), was caught in the crowd. Amid the commotion, both Revathi and her son Sri Tej lost consciousness.
According to the police, Revathi was rushed to Durga Bai Deshmukh Hospital, but she was declared dead on arrival. Her son Sri Tej, who sustained serious injuries, was shifted to KIMS Hospital in Begumpet for advanced treatment. Another injured person, including a child, is reported to be in stable condition and receiving care at a private hospital.
Revathi's body has been sent for post-mortem to Gandhi Hospital.

Allu Arjun’s portrayal in the first installment of the franchise won him immense acclaim, and the sequel has fans buzzing with anticipation.
