Yogi Adityanath Slams Rahul Gandhi as 'Namuna' in Latest Political Jab

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sparked controversy yet again with scathing remarks aimed at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. In a recent interview with ANI, Adityanath referred to Gandhi as a 'namuna' (specimen), suggesting that the BJP needs figures like him to ensure a clear and prosperous path ahead.

Adityanath criticized Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra,' labeling it as the 'Bharat Todo Abhiyan' (Campaign to Break India). He accused Gandhi of criticizing India abroad while his intentions behind the yatra remain suspect to the Indian public.

"In India's political landscape, Bharatiya Janata Party needs specimens like Rahul Gandhi to ensure a path that remains clear and beneficial forever," Adityanath asserted.

The Chief Minister didn't stop there, questioning the Congress party's contributions over the decades and alleging their role in perpetuating controversies, notably in Ayodhya.

"Why didn't Congress fulfill Mahatma Gandhi's dream for Kashi's Sankri Gali? Why did they fail to abolish triple talaq or promote the Kumbh with pride? Congress's track record on infrastructure and Ayodhya remains questionable," he continued.

Adityanath also took aim at Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, criticizing those who glorify historical figures like Aurangzeb and Babar. He emphasized that such perspectives reflect on their views towards India's heritage and national icons.

"This is the same breed that worships Babar, Aurangzeb, and Jinnah. What will be their feelings towards India's heritage?" Adityanath rhetorically questioned.

The ongoing verbal exchanges between Yogi Adityanath and opposition leaders underscore the intense political climate in Uttar Pradesh as the state prepares for upcoming elections. The Chief Minister's bold statements continue to draw reactions and debates across the political spectrum, highlighting the polarization in Indian politics today.
