Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been called by ED today for questioning in the liquor scam case. He will be interrogated in the liquor scam case, but before that an ED team has raided the house of another Delhi government minister this morning.
The Enforcement Directorate is raiding the house of another Delhi government minister, Rajkumar Anand. The ED team is investigating at 9 places including the minister's official residence in Civil Lines. According to the information, the ED team is conducting raids in the case related to Rajkumar Anand's business.
Rajkumar Anand became MLA from Patel Nagar seat for the first time in the year 2020. Before this, his wife Veena Anand had also been an MLA from the same assembly constituency. Rajkumar Anand was included in the cabinet in place of former Delhi government minister Rajendra Pal Gautam. It is noteworthy that in a programme of Buddhist conference, indecent remarks were made on Hindu Gods and Goddesses, where Rajendra Pal Gautam was also present, after which there was a lot of uproar and Rajendra Gautam had to resign from the cabinet.
It is worth mentioning here that ED has called Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for questioning today in the investigation of Delhi liquor scam. Kejriwal was also questioned in this matter on April 16. At that time CBI had interrogated the CM for about 9 hours. This is the same case in which Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh have been arrested. After about 9 months, Kejriwal will be interrogated once again. Due to this, security arrangements are tight from CM office to ED office. Police forces have been deployed at every nook and corner.
