Triple Murder Accused Jeetu Saini Killed in Police Encounter in Bulandshahr

In a significant development in the recent triple murder case that shocked Bulandshahr, the Uttar Pradesh Police on Thursday confirmed that the main accused, Jeetu Saini, was killed in an early morning encounter.

According to officials, Saini, a resident of Khurja Nagar, was wanted for his alleged involvement in the killing of three youths during a birthday party earlier this week. A reward of ₹50,000 had been announced for information leading to his arrest.

Speaking to reporters, Bulandshahr Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dinesh Kumar Singh said the encounter took place under the jurisdiction of Khurja Nagar Police Station. Saini was reportedly travelling on a scooter with an associate when police intercepted them.

“The accused were asked to stop, but they attempted to flee and opened fire at the police team. In retaliation, the police fired back,” Singh said.

Saini sustained bullet injuries during the exchange and was immediately taken to a community health centre. He was later referred to the district hospital, where doctors declared him dead. His associate managed to escape, and a manhunt has been launched to apprehend him.

The encounter also left two police personnel injured, while bullets struck the bulletproof jackets of other officers, preventing further casualties. The injured officers are currently undergoing treatment.

Police recovered an illegal .32 bore pistol, cartridges, and a scooter without a number plate from the scene.

The Khurja Triple Murder Case

The case relates to a brutal incident that occurred on the night of April 25 in Khurja. Three youths — Amardeep (30), Manish (28), and Akash (18) — were shot dead following a dispute during a birthday celebration.

Authorities had registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. So far, five accused have already been arrested in connection with the case.

SSP Singh stated that six police teams were formed to investigate the incident, adding that the law and order situation in the area remains under control.

“Further investigation is underway,” he said, assuring that all those involved will be brought to justice.
