Former Rajasthan Deputy CM and Congress Working Committee member Sachin Pilot has separated from wife Sara Pilot. There has been a divorce between Sachin Pilot and Sara Pilot. This has been revealed from the election affidavit of Pilot. In the affidavit given after filing nomination as Congress candidate from Tonk assembly seat, Pilot has written 'divorced' before his wife's name. Sachin Pilot married Sara Pilot in January 2004. Sara is the daughter of former Jammu and Kashmir CM and senior National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah and sister of Omar Abdullah. However, Sachin Pilot's staff has expressed ignorance about the news. Pilot's staff says that to their knowledge this is not the case.

Sachin Pilot has written the names of his sons – Aran Pilot and Vihaan Pilot in the dependent column. Sara Pilot is Farooq Abdullah's daughter, there were talks of separation even nine years ago. During the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, there were talks of separation of Sachin Pilot and Sara but at that time they dismissed iit as rumors.
