Election of Amar Singh as Rajya Sabha member on Samajwadi Party (SP) ticket had led many to believe those good days of Professor Ramgopal Yadav has gone for a toss. Even Shivpal Yadav started playing his own mind games. But as a Hindi proverb says Sau Sunar ki, Ek Lohar ki, Ramgopal Yadv played his cards very well on the Qaumi Ekta issue. Playing behind the shoulder of nephew Akhilesh, he gave a mild jolt to Shivpal. Now Shivpal is trying to save his face. With this strategic move, not only Shivpal was check-mated, Akhilesh’s image also got emboldened and hence Mulayam is also happy.
