Nitish expressed objection on Congress's attitude

Lalu Prasad was present in the Congress programme but Nitish Kumar was not. This time, in the absence of Lalu in the CPI programme, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, while discussing his efforts for opposition unity, took a dig at the indifferent attitude of the Congress.

"INDI Alliance was formed against the freedom from those who are changing the history of the country. This was done, but not much work is being done right now. There are assembly elections at five places. The Congress party is more interested in that. So, they are working unitedly to take the Congress forward. But, right now they are not worried about all these things. Right now they are busy in the elections of five states. Therefore, when the elections of five states will be held, they will call everyone. There is no discussion happening right now," said Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar at the platform of Communist Party of India programme in Patna. Recently, he had not attended the Congress programme and there ballads were composed in praise of Rashtriya Janata Dal President Lalu Prasad Yadav. Lalu had praised Rahul. This time Lalu was also invited to the CPI programme, but he did not come. When Nitish arrived, he expressed his grief in the meeting and expressed hope that the work of the alliance would increase after the elections in five states.

"BJP Hatao Desh Bachao Rally" programme was organised by CPI at Miller School Ground in the capital Patna, in which Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar participated as the chief guest. As soon as he reached the stage, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar fiercely targeted the Congress. The Chief Minister said how much work we all have done in forming the INDI Alliance against the BJP. "Meetings were also held in two states including Patna, but right now no work is being done to strengthen this alliance. The largest party in the INDI alliance is Congress. We have worked so much to take Congress forward but now Congress leaders are neither saying anything, nor discussing anything, nor doing anything," said Nitish and added that the Congress is engaged in elections in five states, but we are working hard to strengthen the INDI Alliance.
