Kunal Kamra has doubled down on his controversial remarks with a new satirical video, taking aim at Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The parody, set to the tune of the popular song "Hawa Hawai," was released by Kamra as Mumbai police issued him a second summons over his "traitor" comment aimed at Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde.
The release of the video coincided with the police summons, further intensifying the controversy surrounding Kamra's previous remark. In the video, Kamra mocks the BJP and accuses the party of promoting a dictatorship ("tanashahi"). Despite the ongoing backlash, Kamra remains unflinching in the face of the criticism.
The Mumbai police had earlier rejected Kamra's request for a week's extension to appear for questioning, which has only fueled the ongoing tension.
