According to the reports, the number of active cases of corona in Delhi was 932 on March 30, which has increased to more than 4,976 after three weeks. An increase of about 430 per cent has been registered in the number of such cases. More than 13,200 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the last 19 days in Delhi. The number of patients under treatment for corona in Delhi was 4,976 on Monday. This is about 433 per cent more than the 932 cases on 30 March. The number of active cases in Delhi was recorded at 5,297 last Sunday.

There has also been an increase in the cases of corona in the universities located in Delhi. In view of the increasing cases of corona, universities have started taking precautionary measures. Jawaharlal Nehru University has made it mandatory for students, employees to wear masks. In the guidelines issued by JNU, it has been asked to ensure strict compliance of Covid-appropriate behavior. At present, it is a matter of relief that the rate of admission of corona infected in the hospitals of Delhi is low. Through a survey, an attempt was made to know that at present, at the family level, in what percentage of families, one or more members, have symptoms like Covid and what they are doing to recover from it. People from Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and Faridabad were included in the survey. Of more than 19,000 people surveyed, 67 per cent were men while 33 per cent were women.
The survey of the local circle shows that in 55 percent of the families no member is ill. Four or more people in 18 percent of the families are unwell. Another 18 percent have 2-3 persons ill, and 9 percent have one person unwell with symptoms such as fever, running nose, cough, headache, joint pain, body ache, respiratory problems, pink eye.
