Following the discovery, police investigations unraveled the gruesome details of the crime.
The main accused, contractor Suresh Chandrakar, who had been absconding since the incident, was arrested last night by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Hyderabad. He is being brought back to Bijapur for further legal proceedings. Additionally, Suresh’s wife was arrested in Kanker district, and the police have frozen several of his bank accounts.
