BJP’s Journey Rooted in National Service, Not Power: Nitin Nabin in Patna

Nitin Nabin on Saturday said that the journey of the Bharatiya Janata Party has never been about attaining power, but about serving the nation and ensuring development reaches the last person in society. Addressing party workers during the inaugural session of the Patna Mahanagar Prashikshan Varg under the “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan 2026” in Patna, Bihar, he highlighted the BJP’s ideological foundations and organizational strength.

The BJP National President inaugurated a special exhibition at the training camp, which showcased the struggles, sacrifices, and dedication of party workers who devoted their lives to strengthening the organization. The exhibition also highlighted the welfare initiatives and developmental work undertaken under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the last 12 years, along with the efforts of the “double-engine government” in Bihar.

Speaking on the topic “History, Ideological Foundation and Development Journey of the BJP,” Nitin Nabin said the BJP’s rise from the Bharatiya Jana Sangh founded in 1951 to becoming the world’s largest political organization was built on struggle, dedication, and ideological commitment. He noted that the party’s philosophy draws inspiration from Syama Prasad Mookerjee and the Integral Humanism doctrine propounded by Deendayal Upadhyaya.

Nabin emphasized that the BJP’s core objective is to place national interest above everything else and ensure dignity and development for every citizen. He said that despite limited resources and numerous challenges during its early years, BJP workers never compromised on ideology and worked tirelessly to take the party’s principles to the masses.

Referring to the period of the Emergency, the BJP leader said thousands of nationalist workers were jailed while defending democracy and national values. He stated that the BJP has always followed principle-based politics and credited the party’s growth to its dedicated cadre structure.

“In the BJP, even a booth-level Karyakarta is regarded as the backbone of the organization,” he said, adding that this worker-centric culture distinguishes the BJP from other political parties.

Nabin also underlined the achievements of BJP-led governments, saying India is rapidly moving towards development, self-reliance, and good governance. He said welfare for the poor, women empowerment, youth opportunities, digital transformation, infrastructure growth, and strengthening India’s global standing remain key priorities of the government.

Calling upon party workers to strengthen their ideological conviction and organizational capabilities, Nabin said the training session was not merely for acquiring information but an opportunity to deepen commitment towards national service. He urged workers to take the BJP’s ideology and values to every section of society and contribute actively towards building a “Viksit Bharat.”

“The journey of the BJP is not a journey to attain power, but a journey of national service. It is a journey from struggle to success,” he said while concluding his address.
