BJP to Host Diplomats from 12 Nations Under ‘Know BJP’ Initiative in New Delhi

The Bharatiya Janata Party will host representatives and Heads of Missions from 12 countries under its “Know BJP” initiative at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Tuesday. The interaction will be led by BJP National President Nitin Nabin and is scheduled to take place at 4 PM at the party’s central office on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg.

According to a press release issued by the BJP’s Foreign Affairs Department, the programme is aimed at familiarising members of the diplomatic community with the BJP’s historical evolution, ideological foundations, organisational structure, governance approach and ongoing political activities.

The “Know BJP” initiative has been part of the ruling party’s broader outreach strategy to engage with diplomats and foreign representatives stationed in India. Through such interactions, the BJP seeks to present its political philosophy, electoral journey and governance priorities before the international community.

This will also mark the first formal interaction of Nitin Nabin with foreign mission heads after assuming charge as the BJP’s National President. The meeting is expected to focus on India’s democratic framework, policy direction and the role of the BJP in shaping governance at both the national and state levels.

The event is being coordinated by Vijay Chauthaiwale, who heads the BJP’s Foreign Affairs Department. Over the years, the department has actively engaged with diplomats, think tanks and international political organisations through structured dialogues and outreach programmes.

Political observers view the “Know BJP” initiative as part of the party’s effort to strengthen international political engagement and provide foreign diplomats with a deeper understanding of India’s contemporary political landscape. The programme comes at a time when India continues to play an increasingly significant role in global diplomacy, strategic affairs and economic policymaking.

The interaction at the BJP headquarters is expected to witness discussions on governance reforms, development initiatives and India’s expanding global partnerships under the current leadership.
