Election campaign has gained momentum in Rajasthan. On Wednesday, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed an election rally at Tijara seat in Alwar district. As soon as Yogi took the stage, he targeted the Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan. He also raised the Kanhaiyalal murder case of Udaipur and raised questions. Yogi said: You know how Kanhaiya Lal was murdered. Do you also know what would have happened if that incident had happened in UP?
UP CM said, Rajasthan has its own glorious history. But Congress people are leaving no stone unturned in defaming it. It was Congress that gave the problem of Kashmir to the country. But, by solving the problem of Article 370, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have put the final nail on the coffin of terrorism. Now terrorism will end forever. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel wanted to renovate the Somnath temple, but Congress did not want to resolve the dispute over the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Modiji and Yogiji came and the solution was found.
Yogi said: The one that solves all the problems is the double engine government. Wherever there is a double engine government of BJP, development work is being done effectively. Ashok Gehlotji should know that BJP has a double engine government in UP, we have given toilets to 2.75 crore poor people and houses to 55 lakh poor families. 1 crore 75 lakh have been given free connections of Ujjwala scheme. Health insurance cover has been given to 10 crore people in UP.
Yogi further said that how long will the game of appeasement continue in Rajasthan. Gehlot ji, you glorify cow smugglers and run bulldozers on the temples of priests. Yogi said: You know how Kanhaiya Lal was murdered. You know what would have happened if that incident had happened in UP. Rajasthan needs strong leadership. Appeasement should end. Why does appeasement continue? Why was Rs 5 lakh given to Kanhaiya Lal's family and Rs 20-25 lakh given to cow smugglers?
Yogi also thundered: Women feel safe in UP. Incidents of molestation of women do not occur. If this happens then the bulldozers do their work. Nationalism will come to the fore with the Ram temple in Ayodhya in January. PM Modi has provided strong leadership at the Centre. The Taliban mentality has to be ended.
