RSS to Hold Three-Day Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha Meeting in Samalkha

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will hold its annual Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) meeting from March 13 to March 15 at the Madhav Srishti campus in Samalkha, Haryana. The meeting is the organisation’s highest decision-making body and is held every year to review activities and plan future initiatives.

The session will begin on March 13 with Pushparchan, in the presence of RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat and under the chairmanship of Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale. Senior RSS leaders and representatives from across the country have already started arriving at the venue.

Around 1,487 delegates are expected to participate in the meeting, including Prant Sanghchalaks, Prant Pracharaks, and other key office bearers from different regions. Representatives from 32 organisations inspired by the RSS, such as the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, and Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, will also attend as special invitees.

A major focus of the meeting will be on the activities planned during the RSS centenary year. Leaders will review programmes such as Grih Sampark (door-to-door outreach) and Hindu Sammelans being organised across the country. According to the organisers, outreach has already reached over 10 crore households so far.

The gathering will also review the expansion of RSS organisational work, noting that around 5,500 to 6,000 new shakhas have been added in the past year. There has also been a rise in people expressing interest in joining the organisation through the “Join RSS” online platform, with 26,445 people registering interest in January–February this year, compared to 16,192 during the same period last year.

Discussions will also cover training programmes for volunteers, with about 97 training camps scheduled this year, including Sangh Shiksha Vargs and Karyakarta Vikas Vargs.

The meeting will also take note of the 650th birth anniversary year of Sant Ravidas, which began on February 1 and will continue until February next year. RSS volunteers and associated organisations plan to organise programmes highlighting his teachings and message of social harmony.

During the first day, the Sarkaryavah will present the annual report on the organisation’s activities. Detailed information about the meeting’s decisions and outcomes will be shared with the media at the end of the three-day session.
