In her latest election affidavit, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra disclosed assets amounting to over Rs 12 crore, with significant immovable and movable properties. As part of her declaration, she revealed that her Shimla residence, which she personally acquired, is now valued at Rs 5.63 crore. Priyanka’s immovable assets total over Rs 7.74 crore, with a portion of these inherited from her family. Among these inherited assets are two half shares of agricultural land in New Delhi's Mehrauli area and a half share in a farmhouse building located there, jointly valued at over Rs 2.10 crore.

In the financial year 2023-2024, Priyanka Gandhi declared a total income of Rs 46.39 lakh, which she earned through rental income, interest from bank accounts, and other investments. Her movable assets are estimated at Rs 4.24 crore. These include deposits spread across three bank accounts, investments in mutual funds, a Public Provident Fund (PPF), a Honda CRV car gifted by her husband Robert Vadra, and gold weighing over 4,400 grams with a total value of Rs 1.15 crore.

Priyanka Gandhi also disclosed her husband Robert Vadra's financial details in her affidavit. Vadra’s movable assets are valued at Rs 37.9 crore, while his immovable assets are estimated at Rs 27.64 crore. Priyanka has a liability of Rs 15.75 lakh, along with an outstanding tax liability of Rs 15 lakh, which stems from an ongoing income tax reassessment for the assessment year 2012-2013.

Rahul Gandhi's Asset Declaration During Lok Sabha Polls

Priyanka Gandhi’s declaration comes months after her brother, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, filed his election affidavit for the Lok Sabha elections held in June 2024. Rahul declared total assets exceeding Rs 20 crore. His movable assets amount to Rs 9.24 crore, comprising shares worth Rs 4.33 crore, mutual funds worth Rs 3.81 crore, bank deposits totaling Rs 26.25 lakh, gold bonds worth Rs 15.21 lakh, and 333.3 grams of gold jewelry worth Rs 4.2 lakh.

Rahul Gandhi also listed immovable assets valued at Rs 11.15 crore, including self-acquired properties worth Rs 9.04 crore and inherited assets worth Rs 2.10 crore. His immovable holdings include jointly owned agricultural land in Sultanpur village measuring approximately 3.778 acres, which he shares with Priyanka, as well as commercial office space in Signature Towers, Gurugram, valued at Rs 9.05 crore. Rahul Gandhi disclosed a liability of Rs 49.79 lakh and cash on hand amounting to Rs 55,000.

These asset declarations highlight the significant financial positions of the Gandhi siblings, reflecting both personal acquisitions and inherited wealth, as they continue their political careers in the upcoming elections.
