Pran Pratishtha Ceremony Marks Historic Day at Ram Janmabhoomi, Ayodhya

Ayodhya, known as the spiritual heart of India, witnessed a momentous occasion today as the Pran Pratishtha ceremony commenced at the newly constructed Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex. The focal point of this ceremony was the consecration of the Ram Darbar, accompanied by idols in subsidiary temples within the precincts. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath graced the event as the chief guest, coincidentally on his birthday, adding a deeply personal significance to the day's proceedings.

Ceremony Details and Significance

The Pran Pratishtha, or ritual consecration, began promptly at 11 am amidst the chanting of Vedic hymns and special prayers. This sacred ceremony was conducted by 101 Vedic scholars, ensuring adherence to ancient traditions and meticulous rituals. Of particular astrological importance was the timing of the ceremony during the auspicious "Abhijit Muhurat" and under a favorable astrological "lagna," believed to enhance the sanctity and auspiciousness of the consecration.

The main ritual took place on the first floor of the grand Ram Temple, specifically within the Ram Darbar and seven other temples strategically positioned around the sanctum's precincts. This layout symbolizes the spiritual and architectural significance of the temple complex, designed to embody the essence of Lord Ram's divine presence.
