Over ₹3,000 Crore Donated for Ram Temple Construction in Ayodhya, Says Trust Chairman

Devotees of Lord Ram from across the globe have contributed over ₹3,000 crore towards the construction of the grand Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, according to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The Trust’s chairman, Nripendra Mishra, shared that the unprecedented support from devotees reflects the deep faith and unity that the temple symbolizes for millions.

Addressing the media, Mr. Mishra stated that around ₹1,500 crore has already been spent on the construction work, and the total expenditure is expected to touch ₹1,800 crore by the time the project is fully completed. He added that the Trust is optimistic about completing all aspects of the temple construction by the end of next year.

Expressing heartfelt gratitude to devotees worldwide, Mr. Mishra said, “The faith and devotion with which people came forward to donate are unparalleled. This temple is not merely a structure; it is a symbol of national and spiritual unity.”

In a significant announcement, Mr. Mishra revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to hoist a flag on the spire of the newly constructed Ram Temple on November 25. The flag, he said, is triangular in shape, saffron in colour, 11 feet wide and 21 feet long, and bears sacred symbols representing the Suryavansh and the Treta Yuga.

The Trust also plans a grand celebration on November 25, where between 8,000 to 10,000 guests are expected to attend. Those who contributed to the temple’s construction — including individual donors, religious institutions, and corporate entities — will be specially honoured during the ceremony.

Furthermore, the Trust has announced a follow-up event after November 25, where certificates of appreciation will be distributed to all contributors, recognizing their role in what has become one of India’s most historic and spiritually significant projects.

With the temple nearing completion, the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi stands not only as a monumental architectural achievement but also as a testament to collective faith, devotion, and the enduring spirit of unity among millions of devotees worldwide.
