In Jharkhand, there has been no percentage prevalence of community transmission found in the Sero-Survey conducted by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in three districts of the state. Based on the reports received by ICMR, there is no community transmission of COVID-19 in Jharkhand. However, the Health Secretary has requested ICMR to conduct such surveys in all the districts of the state to ascertain the prevalence of viral spread across the state. The results show better immunity power in denizens of the state. Recovery rate in patients of COVID-19 further improved to 55.92 per cent.
