Modi Highlights Decade of Growth in Assam, Exudes Confidence in BJP’s Hat-Trick Bid

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday asserted that Assam has undergone remarkable transformation over the past decade, expressing strong confidence that voters will once again back the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the upcoming Assembly elections.

Addressing a large public gathering in Gogamukh, the Prime Minister pointed to visible enthusiasm among citizens as a sign of continued support for development and political stability in the state. He emphasized that the progress witnessed in Assam reflects the broader vision and governance model pursued by the NDA government.

Modi underlined the significance of the forthcoming polls, stating that the election is not just about forming a government but about shaping the future of the nation. “This time, the election is to make Viksit Bharat (Developed India),” he said, linking the state’s trajectory with the national goal of becoming a developed country.

Projecting confidence in the party’s electoral prospects, he declared that the BJP would return to power in Assam and achieve a “hat-trick” victory. His remarks come as the BJP intensifies its campaign across the state ahead of the Assembly elections scheduled for April 9.

The Prime Minister’s address is part of a broader outreach effort by the ruling alliance to consolidate support, highlight developmental achievements, and rally voters around the vision of sustained growth and governance continuity in Assam.
