Intruder Arrested After Allegedly Attempting to Enter Salman Khan's Residence

In a recent security breach at Mumbai's iconic Galaxy Apartments, a 23-year-old man, identified as Jitendra Kumar Singh, was apprehended by police after allegedly attempting to illegally enter the residence of Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The incident, which unfolded on May 20, has sparked concerns about the safety and security measures around high-profile celebrity homes.

According to reports from NDTV, the Mumbai police disclosed that Jitendra Kumar Singh was first spotted loitering around Salman Khan's Bandra residence early in the morning on the same day. Concerned for the actor's security, a police officer assigned to protect Salman Khan instructed Singh to leave the premises at approximately 9:45 am. However, the situation escalated when Singh, reportedly frustrated by being turned away, threw his mobile phone to the ground in anger and broke it.

Later in the evening, around 7:15 pm, Singh made a second attempt to gain access to Galaxy Apartments, this time in a car belonging to a resident of the same building. Once again intercepted by the police, he was promptly detained and handed over to the Bandra police for further investigation.

During questioning, Jitendra Kumar Singh confessed to authorities that his intention was to meet Salman Khan. "The police were not letting me meet him so I was trying to hide," he explained, shedding light on his motive for the intrusion.

Jitendra Kumar Singh, hailing from Chhattisgarh, has since been placed under arrest, with a case filed against him for trespassing and related offenses. The incident has raised questions about the adequacy of security protocols around celebrities' homes and the effectiveness of measures in preventing such breaches.

As of now, it remains unclear whether Salman Khan was present at his residence during the time of the incident. Investigations into the matter are ongoing, as authorities seek to ensure the safety of public figures and maintain the integrity of security arrangements in Mumbai's high-profile residential areas.
