India avenged Pahalgam: Missile Fear in the Skies

The Falling Pakistani Rupee Made DGMO Beg for peace

Indian social media is filled with condemnation of the Indian government for agreeing for ceasefire without taking Pakistan occupied Kashmir. The emotional countrymen forget that taking POK is a separate mission. Delivering justice to preparators of the brutal killing of Pahal Gam victims was urgent and needed immediate intervention. Taking of POK is no less than merger of east and west Germany or it might be bigger than that. Indian Parliament has taken a pledge to fulfil this long-term goal but it cannot be initiated in haste.  On the other hand, operation SINDOOR had achieved major breakthroughs, let’s examine:

•    Killing of notorious terrorist along with training infrastructure.

Operation SINDOOR has changed the course of history forever. Not only it delivered justice to the families of martyrs of Pahal gam, it has given solace to family of Deniel pearl the slain journalist of US and many more such families. While India attempted to destroy the terror, training camps at nine locations and succeeded in destroying the infrastructure and killing more than 100 terrorists. The divine manifestation has rewarded it with killing of 5 most wanted terrorists involved in terror activities as old as Kandahar plane hijack to recent killings. All the leading terror outfits operating from POK or Pakistan tasted their own recipe that too served hot.

“The 5 terrorists India killed in Pakistan under 'Operation Sindoor' air strikes”

HT News Desk May 10, 2025 02:22 PM IST.

•   Alliance between Pakistani leadership and terrorists’ outfits got exposed.
The operation SINDOOR has exposed the connection between terrorist and Pakistani leadership. Pakistani leaders, generals and local authorities were shamelessly attending the funerals of the slain terrorists. Masud Azahar the dreaded terrorist sponsored by ISI, was crying for the death of his family members who were leading his terrorist outfits.

Thanks to operation SINDOOR the world saw the unholy alliance of political, military leadership of Pakistan and the terrorist outfits.

•  Pakistani air defence system breached successfully! How does Operation SiNDOOR Exposed Pakistan's Air Defence’

1. Surprise Missile Penetration
India launched precision missile strikes at nine locations, including Bahawalpur and Muridke, without interception. suggesting radar gaps or delayed response from Pakistan’s air defence network.

2. Failure to Detect Early or Respond Swiftly
Despite heightened tensions post-Pahalgam attack, Pakistan was unable to detect or stop incoming Indian cruise missiles in real time, reflecting either a failure of surveillance infrastructure or command delay in activating countermeasures.

3. HQ-9 Systems of China earned a bad name.
Pakistan reportedly has access to Chinese-made HQ-9 and other Russian-origin air defence systems. None of these systems were reported to intercept or even engage the Indian missiles.

4. International Perception

•  The operation sent a strong message globally: Pakistan’s airspace is breach-able even under alert, damaging its military credibility.

•  Pakistani ministers were saying in public that India will attack it and they will give suitable reply. Despite tall claims India attacked, destroyed the targets and killed without getting detected. The world saw cowardice, inefficiency of Pakistan and futile defence equipments.

•  It will have lasting vulnerable consequences. Most of the Pakistani separatist organisations are financially sound therefore these may opt to exploit these weaknesses at will.

As a strategic Fallout of operation SINDOOR, Pakistan had many issues to defend:

1. India demonstrated escalation dominance, proving it could strike surgically without inviting full-blown war.

2.Pakistani military faced domestic and international embarrassment, undermining its “nuclear shield” bluff.

Economic and Diplomatic Fallout of mission SINDOOR.

•  India's retaliatory measures, like suspending the Indus Waters Treaty and halting bilateral trade, multiplied Pakistan's economic challenges. These actions disrupted trade routes and increased inflationary pressures within Pakistan. Now international financial institutions like the IMF and World Bank revised Pakistan's growth forecasts downward, citing the country's fragile economic state and the impact of geopolitical tensions

•  Pakistan's benchmark KSE-100 index plummeted by over 16,700 points, marking a 14% drop since April 22. This sharp decline reflects investor apprehension about potential military conflicts and the country's economic stability. Trading was even halted temporarily due to the market's volatility

In summary, the Pahalgam attack and subsequent geopolitical developments severely impacted    Pakistan's economy, leading to a significant depreciation of their currency, PKR and a sharp decline in the stock market, leading to economic and diplomatic challenges.

Geo Political setbacks.

post-Pahalgam attack Pakistan's strategic decision to redeploy troops from Baluchistan to counter perceived threats from India, weakened its control over the province. This move allowed separatist groups to strengthen their operations, leading to increased violence, erosion of state authority, and heightened international concerns.

This has resulted in creating opportunities for militant groups like the TTP to escalate their activities. The concurrent border tensions with Afghanistan further exacerbate the situation, challenging Pakistan's ability to maintain stability on multiple fronts.

It will be very difficult for Pakistan to regain lost grounds in Baluchistan and northwest frontier now.

Being busy with separatist in own country, it may become more challenging to continue supporting terrorist activities against India.

Violation of ceasefire within few hours does not surprise India.

The world leaders would be surprised and shocked to see the violation of ceasefire within hours of agreement but it is natural outcome for a country where no single authority is there to implement decisions. Pakistan has a long history of much bigger and grave violation. Few leading examples.

•             In 1947-48 newly formed Pakistan did not follow the persuasion policy envisaged in the independence of India act.  Pakistan precipitated the war a few weeks after its independence by launching tribal lashkars (militias) from Waziristan, in an effort to capture Kashmir and to pre-empt the possibility of its ruler joining India.

•             Since its creation in 1947, Pakistan has spent several decades under military rule (1958–1971, 1977–1988, 1999–2008).  Each of the past five prime ministers of Pakistan has faced convictions or imprisonment. This trend highlights a significant aspect of Pakistan's political landscape: the prevailing rule that the military exercises influence wherever it deems necessary, often persisting despite potential repercussions. Throughout Pakistani history, the military has played a destructive role in jeopardising governance leaving no space for diplomacy.

•             ‘The Review’ published by international commission of Jurist, June 1972 on page 33 informs, “There is hardly a phrase of this Article which does not appear to have been violated on a massive scale by the Pakistani army and auxiliary forces throughout the period from 25 March to the surrender of the Pakistani forces on 16 December… The massacre of unarmed civilians, the destruction of villages and parts of towns, the rape of women, the torture and intimidation of prisoners, the taking and killing of hostages, the frequent executions without trial, the failure to tend the sick and wounded, all these, wherever they occurred, and whether as acts of repression and intimidation or as punitive measures or as reprisals were inexcusable crimes, and often aggravated by an ‘ adverse distinction ’ founded on race or religion”.

•             Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif accepted that the occupation of Kargil by Pakistani troops in the year 1999 was a misadventure and a stab in the back for then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, especially when the two countries were involved in a peace process at Lahore - India Today web desk Feb 16, 2016.

•             Despite being a leading partner of America in war against terror, it provided shelter to America’s biggest enemy Osama bin Laden.

Why Pakistan violets international laws and the treaties it signs.

Pakistan was formed on the assumption that the Muslims cannot live in harmony with Hindus. The assumption failed on the day one, when Majority of Muslims outside Punjab and Bengal did not leave India and Zinna himself said the opposite on 11 august 1947,

” Hindus of Pakistan and Muslims of Pakistan should coexist and help each other since he believed that religious was a personal affair and one that had little to do with the wellbeing of a country”.

This change of stance proves that Muslim league raised a hoax call to divide India.

However over last seven decades, The Pakistani leadership has proved that over and above Hindus, its leader cannot tolerate Bengali Muslim, Muhajirs, Shias, Baloch, Pashtuns.  As a result, every state is under unrest, mosques of other sects are not safe. No lesson learnt despite defeat and creation of Bangla Desh.

Hatred can lead to arson, extremism but it cannot lead a nation to stability and prosperity.

Pakistan exported terror to Afghanistan. For all practical purposes it has become a terror exporting nation which is causing instability to neighbouring countries. The Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan has long been accused by various governments and intelligence agencies of involvement in drug trafficking and the export of terrorism. While Pakistan officially denies these claims, In September 11 1994, interview with The Washington Post, former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif alleged that in early 1991, then-Army Chief General Mirza Aslam Beg and ISI Director General Lieutenant General Asad Durrani proposed a plan to fund Pakistan's covert military operations through large-scale heroin trafficking. It has also provided shelter to Daud Ibrahim the notorious outlaw wanted in India.

Way forward.

Pakistan has failed as a state from day one. It is responsible for destabilising not only its neighbours but the land far off as well. It has no control over its army. The terrorist monsters and drug mafias created by it, have out grown it and are now working against its own interests. Its alleged involvement in drug trafficking, providing shelter to global terrorist has threatened the peace in South Asia. It had proven link to 11 September attack in U.S and 26/11 in India. The world has tolerated it to get its resources to fight with Al Quida and Taliban which It has been serving shamelessly.

Operation SINDOOR has exposed it completely and time has come that the world should support India’s mission to protect itself and save the world from the curse of terrorism, drug trafficking and genocide. United nation has failed in resolving Kashmir issue in time. Now it faces a bigger question, whether Dividing Pakistan in manageable small countries will save Hindus, Shia, Baluch, Pashtuns and muhajir from the atrocities which were once inflicted on Bengalis of erstwhile East Pakistan?

Conclusion.

Pakistan is a nuclear armed state with no maturity to handle such weapons. The corrupt leaders, power-hungry generals and daring terrorist outfit nexus, create an environment where its nukes can reach in wrong hand any day. If that happens the world will be facing an unmanageable risk.

The history teaches us that pursuing the policy of appeasement and giving in to Hitler's demands to avoid a terrible repetition of WWI could not avoid World War II. India has the responsibility to explain to its future generations, “why it let go the cornered Pakistan and suffered ceasefire violation”?

India has shown remarkable restrain despite proving it’s might to attack Pakistan at will.

India should not be punished for respecting the appeal of the leaders of world, fourth time now. The previous occasions were, Indus water treaty 1960, Tashkent in 1966, Shimla 1971.

On home front, COVID endemic has exposed our inability to bear the pains of long-term loss of livelihood. The voices from people living at border have given a reminder of the same in last 4 days. It is the people living in central India far away from war theatre are demanding war! In the era of present opposition, media houses, senior lawyers, jihadis and other extremist handlers managing sleeping cells, the best strategy is to follow the great Shivaji Maharaj: hit hard, destroy enemy infrastructure and come home safe.

If we have to take POK then we have to remember, revenge is a dish, best served cold.
