BJP national president Nitin Nabin received an enthusiastic welcome from party leaders and workers in Muzaffarnagar on Tuesday as he travelled to Saharanpur on a two-day organisational visit to western Uttar Pradesh. His brief remarks about the enthusiasm of BJP workers sending a message for the beginning of 2027 have added a political dimension to the party’s organisational outreach ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
BJP national president Nitin Nabin was given a warm reception by party leaders and workers in Muzaffarnagar on Tuesday morning during his two-day organisational tour of western Uttar Pradesh.
Nabin stopped near Tata Motors on the Jolly bypass at around 9:30 am while travelling towards Saharanpur. A large number of BJP workers and senior party leaders gathered at the spot to welcome the national president.
Among those present were former Union minister Sanjeev Balyan, Uttar Pradesh minister of state with independent charge Kapil Dev Aggarwal and minister Narendra Kashyap, along with several other party office-bearers and workers.
The visit is focused primarily on strengthening the party organisation in western Uttar Pradesh. Nabin is scheduled to hold organisational meetings and interact with party workers during his tour, with discussions expected to centre on organisational preparedness and coordination at the grassroots level.
Addressing the gathering briefly, Nabin said the enthusiasm displayed by BJP workers was conveying a message about the beginning of 2027. His remark comes as political parties in Uttar Pradesh prepare for the next Assembly election, making organisational mobilisation an important part of their activities.
The BJP president had also received a welcome in Khatauli before reaching Muzaffarnagar. Party workers subsequently greeted him at several locations across the district as he continued his journey towards Saharanpur.
Kapil Dev Aggarwal described the Muzaffarnagar programme as Nabin's first visit to the district in his capacity as BJP national president. He said that while travelling to Saharanpur, Nabin stopped in the Muzaffarnagar Assembly constituency, where party workers and local residents came out to welcome him.
The visit highlights the BJP's continuing emphasis on its organisational network in western Uttar Pradesh. The region has traditionally been an important part of the state's electoral landscape, and direct interaction between senior leadership and grassroots workers is likely to remain a significant feature of the party's preparations in the months ahead.
For BJP workers in Muzaffarnagar, Nabin's visit provided an opportunity to showcase their organisational strength and enthusiasm. The reception also underlined the importance the party attaches to maintaining contact with its cadre as preparations gradually gather pace for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly election.
