In a significant development, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken action by provisionally attaching 43 immovable properties valued at over Rs 37.64 crore in connection with the Shikohpur land deal case involving Robert Vadra and associated entities. The ED issued the provisional attachment order on July 16, 2025, targeting assets linked to Robert Vadra and Skylight Hospitality Pvt Ltd. The case centers on the purported irregular purchase of 3.53 acres of land from Omkareshwar Properties Pvt Ltd on February 12, 2008. According to an FIR filed by the Gurugram Police (No. 288) on September 1, 2018, the transaction allegedly involved forged documents and misuse of commercial licenses facilitated by personal influence.
Subsequently, on July 17, 2025, the ED filed a prosecution complaint, commonly known as a charge sheet, before the Rouse Avenue Court in New Delhi. The complaint lists 11 individuals and entities, including Robert Vadra, Skylight Hospitality Pvt Ltd, Satyanand Yaji, Kawal Singh Virk, and Omkareshwar Properties Pvt Ltd.
It's important to note that the court has yet to take cognisance of the charges, indicating that it has not made a decision regarding the commencement of trial proceedings against the accused parties.
