On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting in the War Room located at his official residence from 3:30 AM to oversee the arrangements for the Amrit Snan (holy bath). He was joined by the DGP, Chief Secretary Home, and officials from the Chief Minister's Office, where continuous updates were received and necessary directives issued.

The Chief Minister meticulously assessed the entire situation concerning the security and management of this significant event. He instructed administrative officials to ensure no inconvenience during the bathing ritual and to provide enhanced facilities for all devotees.

Directives to Officials

Yogi Adityanath directed officials to guarantee full security arrangements at the bathing site and to fulfill all necessary arrangements for the devotees. He also urged the administration to enhance the commitment to this grand festival of faith.

Focus on Security and Traffic Management

Special attention was given to security arrangements and traffic management to ensure that thousands of devotees could benefit from the holy bath without any hassle.

Devotees in Post-Bath Charity

Following the bath, the sight of ascetics from different akharas, some mounted on horses and others adorned with their distinctive attire and ornaments, in the grand procession added to the splendor. With flowers in their hair, garlands of flowers, and tridents waving in the air, they enhanced the sanctity of the Maha Kumbh.

These disciplined ascetics could not be stopped, following the orders of their top officials from their akharas. Amid the sound of trumpets, their enthusiasm made this occasion even more special.

Their performances with tridents and damrus conveyed the message that the Maha Kumbh is not just a religious event but a celebration of the union of nature and humanity.
