A major accident happened in Himachal's Kullu on Monday. The private bus filled with passengers fell in the Sainj Valley. 16 people have died in this accident, some of whom are children. Some of the injured have been evacuated. It is being said that 45 people were aboard the bus. According to reports, the accident happened at 8 am in Sainj Valley in Kullu. The District Commissioner says that the death toll may increase. The bus was going from Kullu to Sainj. School children were traveling in this bus. The central government announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh each for the next of kin of the deceased. The bus fell into a ditch below the road, about 200 meters from Jangla village. 16 people have died in the accident. One of the injured died in the hospital. A girl student was also among the dead. There three people have been injured. Tehsildar, Sainj, Hiralal has confirmed this. The injured included the driver and operator of the bus, besides a passenger. At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also condoled the Kullu bus accident. The PM tweeted that the bus accident in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, is heart-wrenching.
