The BJP today hit out at the Congress for making baseless allegations against the NDA Government over Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act-MGNREGA scheme. In a statement, Party Spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said that the Narendra Modi Government has even made the scheme more effective which is beneficial for the labourers. He said, the NDA Government has increased the budgetary allocations for MGNREGA every year in comparison to the previous Congress led UPA government.
