In Assam, 30,000 people are affected due to floods in five districts. These districts are -Goalpara, Dibrugarh, Darrang, Lakhimpur and Sonitpur. Official sources said that several rivers are flowing above the danger level. Nearly 9,000 people are taking shelter at Relief Camps at Goalpara district. NDRF and SDRF teams have evacuated 400 people at Goalpara.
