In a dramatic turn of events amidst the Delhi Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of a raid at his residence in Kapurthala House. However, Election Commission sources have denied any such raid.
Delhi's Chief Minister, Atishi, took to Twitter, alleging, "Delhi Police raided Bhagwant Mann ji's house in Delhi. BJP folks distribute cash, shoes, blankets openly - that's not visible. Instead, they raid the elected CM's residence. Bravo BJP! Delhiites will answer on the 5th!"
This incident unfolded just a day after a suspicious car was apprehended outside 'Punjab House'. Delhi Police seized a car containing large amounts of cash, alcohol, and AAP promotional material. The car was marked 'Punjab Government'. AAP has vehemently accused BJP of plotting to defame the AAP government in Punjab through this car. AAP's Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh demanded the Election Commission to take note and act against the culprits. He alleged, "BJP's dirty politics has stooped so low that they are using a car with a fake registration number, taking money and promotional material from this car, defaming AAP, Punjab government, and Punjab House."
The unfolding of these events highlights the intense political climate surrounding the Delhi elections, with AAP and BJP trading allegations as the electoral battle heats up.
