President Ram Nath Kovind, who is on a four-day visit to the North Eastern States, will attend the concluding session of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha at Kachubari in Tamulpur district of Assam today. AIR correspondent reports that President Ram Nath Kovind will attend the concluding session of the 61st Bodo Sahitya Sabha today at Kachubari in Tamulpur district of Assam at around 10 am. It is a historic moment for the Bodo Sahitya Sabha as no President of India has ever attended any literary event of any language in the northeastern region. Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma, and Chief Minister of Sikkim Prem Singh Tamang will also attend the Bodo Sahitya Sabha session along with the President. A large number of Bodo language-speaking people from Bangladesh, Nepal, Tripura, Nagaland, and West Bengal are also attending the event. Later, the President will also grace the valedictory function of North East Festival at Guwahati this afternoon, organized by the Ministry of DoNER as a part of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav',.
